The first and second round of singing auditions will be held in 32 cities across the United States. Dance auditions will be held in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, and Orlando.

Cities listed below have different schedules for singing auditions. Please check the schedule for your specific city.

Both singing and dancing auditions can also be submitted virtually if you are unable to attend an in-person audition.

We are inviting males and females ages 8-23 years old to audition. You must be 8 years old by 6/1/2022 and not older than 23 years old on 8/15/2022. Please see the eligibility requirements in FAQs for more information.

For Featured Singer roles, we are seeking aspiring vocalists so no experience is necessary. For Featured Dancer roles, only performers who consider themselves advanced-level dancers should audition.

All individuals are strongly encouraged to pre-register prior to arriving at the audition. Preregistering will eliminate paperwork on the day of the audition. City specific registration links are included in the above list.

Each individual will check-in at the registration table with a member of our audition staff prior to entering the audition room. Parents/guardians are not permitted to enter the audition room. The audition times for each round are listed below. Depending on the hotel policy, parents/guardians may be able to wait in the lobby or other areas. Due to safety requirements, parents/guardians will be asked to check out individuals ages 8-12.

FEATURED SINGER FIRST ROUND:

In the first-round of Featured Singer auditions, you will be asked to sing acapella (without music) a song of your choice for no longer than 45 seconds which demonstrates your vocal ability. You may play an instrument (like a guitar) if you wish. Judges will be looking for pitch, rhythm, tone quality, and overall performance delivery. At the completion of your first round, we will notify the individuals that have advanced to the second round.

FEATURED DANCER FIRST ROUND (NY, LA, MIAMI, ORLANDO ONLY):

In the first-round of Featured Dancer auditions, you will be taught a routine by our choreographer, Grady Bowman. Please make sure to wear dance or athletic clothing and the appropriate shoes. 

FEATURED SINGER SECOND ROUND:

The top individuals will be invited back for a second round of Featured Singer auditions that afternoon.  We will let you know the time of callbacks the day of your audition.  During the second round, we will extensively evaluate both your singing and dancing abilities. We will ask you to perform the following:

• -A 45 second acapella rendition of a song that demonstrates your vocal ability. We request that this song is different from the song you sang during the first round. 
• –A 45 second acapella rendition of a song from the list below. We encourage you to listen to the original recordings on the Spotify playlist linked below. We welcome you to sing any song on the list that you feel showcases your style, range, and overall vocal ability.
• -You will also be taught a short dance routine so we can assess your dancing abilities.
• -In addition to the dance routine, you may also perform a 60-second freestyle dance routine to either Come Sail Away by Styx or Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars, if you consider yourself an advanced dancer. 

FEATURED DANCER SECOND ROUND (NY, LA, MIAMI, ORLANDO ONLY):

The top individuals will be invited back for a second round of Featured Dancer auditions that afternoon. At that time, you will be taught a more difficult routine to test your overall ability. 

In addition to the dance routine, you may also perform a 60-second freestyle dance routine to either Come Sail Away by Styx or Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars, if you consider yourself an advanced dancer.

We will select the top auditionees, no later than July 25, 2022, for both Featured Singer and Featured Dancer roles to attend the final round in Tampa, Florida on August 9th-12th, 2022. At that time, all auditionees will be thoroughly evaluated and a final cast of 22 members will be selected. Transportation and lodging will be provided for each auditionee. If the auditionee is under the age of 18 on August 9, 2022, transportation and lodging will also be provided for one parent as well.

The final cast will be announced by August 15, 2022. Individuals will be contacted by phone and email.
